Chelsea still on top for Sandro transfer despite PSG and Man City interest

Chelsea are still considered the favourites for £60m rated Juventus defender Alex Sandro amid interest from megabucks sides such as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, according reports in Italy via Goal.

The Brazilian wing-back is keen to make the move to Stamford Bridge, where he would earn a significant pay rise, doubling his current weekly wage of less than £50,000.

His club, the Serie A giants Juventus, are not eager to sanction a move away for the player but they will be restricted by their smaller sized financial budget compared to that of their English rivals. Therefore, the Old Lady will be looking to strike the best possible deal for themselves.

But with Blues manager Antonio Conte in a strong position of power at last season’s Premier League winning club, having reportedly stating his disgruntlement over lack of transfers recently, it looks like the former Juventus boss could well seal the deal for one of his top targets.
