City missing key player vs Liverpool, Pep confirms

Sergio Aguero is expected to miss tonight’s game against Liverpool, his Coach Pep Guardiola has revealed.

The Spaniard will be without a striker who has scored 30 goals in all competitions, but who has been out of action for exactly a month, hurting himself in training after the Citizens had beaten Chelsea 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final, Pep Guardiola said that Aguero “is in Manchester. He didn't come. We'll see [if he plays against Man Utd].”

The Mancunian Derby is this weekend, a chance for City to further confirm their complete domination of the Premier League by doing the double on their bitter rivals at home.
There is some good news to come out of this:

"Sergio is much much better, but today the physios spoke to him and he said he still has a small problem and isn't comfortable."
