    CM EXCLUSIVE: Juve eye Rodrigo Caio

    Juventus are particularly active on the Brazilian transfer market. After Rogerio and Matheus Pereira, the bianconeri are ready to put their hands on a young defender –Sao Paulo 23-year-old Rodrigo Caio. The latter is considered an alternative to Bayern Munich center back Mehdi Benatia, but can also play as a defensive playmaker or a right back.
     
     The Brazilian player has been observed many times by the Piedmont’s club scouts, and also holds an Italian passport.
     
    Caio was about to join Valencia last summer for €12,5 million, but the transfer failed because of an injury; Atletico Madrid tried to obtain the player on loan with right to buy, but the player wants to leave Brazil only on permanent basis.
