Confirmed: AC Milan targeting out of contract Chelsea defender in January

AC Milan are in the hunt for reinforcements in the January transfer market in order to try to finally return to the Champions League. Alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cesc Fabregas, the Rossoneri have identified Gary Cahill as a potential man to strengthen the defence.

According to Tuttosport, Cahill does not seem to fall into the plans of coach Sarri as he has featured in only 21 minutes of Premier League football this season. Chelsea would like a compensation for the player in January, whose contract expires in June next year.

However, the will of the player will be fundamental. Cahill will be 33 years old in a few days and has always played in England and it must be understood if he wants to go abroad to close his career.
