Cordoba wants role behind the scenes at former club

Ex-Nerazzurri defender Ivan Cordoba, who retired from the game in 2012, wants a return to his former club. Speaking to the website barbadillo.it, the former San Siro idol revealed he would love the the chance to help Inter out behind the scenes: "I don’t want to be a coach. I would like to continue my career in a managerial-role at Inter, as was planned in the past. This has been interrupted for the time being. But I will always continue to hope that I can do something for the Nerazzurri. At the moment, I would relish working with the Colombia Football Federation, maybe in the role of President, a role in which I could use all of my international experience."
