Costacurta names the two strikers AC Milan should have signed

AC Milan are not in the form of their lives being without a win in all competition in the last month. The rossoneri spent over € 200 million in the summer but new signings are struggling to make the difference yet with the Champions League placement that is now 9 points far from the rossoneri.

Alessandro Costacutra, one of the most iconic footballers in the history of the club, commented the season of AC Milan so far revealing the two strikers he thinks AC Milan should have signed.

“I think AC Milan problems are up front. It is safe to say that AC Milan create goal chances but they miss someone who can score with consistency", the former Italy International told Sky.

“The likes of Andrea Belotti or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would have made the situation much different, we’d be talking about a different AC Milan side if one of them two was signed by AC Milan last summer.”

The Serie A giants made attempts to sign both strikers but could not manage to reach any agreement with their clubs. The rossoneri opted to sign Nikola Kalinic instead who, however, is failing to justify his € 24 million price-tag so far.
