Coutinho’s ‘secret plan’ to leave Liverpool in January revealed

Coutinho has a secret plan to leave Liverpool in January and the Premier League side are aware of it. That’s what Mundo Deportivo claims in its online edition today.

The Brazilian star had a row with executives of the Premier League giants in the summer as he pushed to leave Anfield Road and join Barcelona where a replacement of Neymar was desperately needed.

The two clubs failed to reach an agreement and Coutinho had to accept Liverpool’s decision remaining at Anfield Road for a new more months.

Barcelona, however, are still in contact with the player’s entourage and would be ready to make an offer to sign him in the winter transfer window.

Liverpool, in fact, had agreed to sell Coutinho in January if the Brazilian had played in the Champions League with the Premier League giants. Given Coutinho’s appearances with the Reds, the player is not allowed to play the same competition with any other club this season and that would not make him a potential opponent of Liverpool in the Champions League knock-out stage.

The Premier League giants are ready to sell the Brazilian in January if Barcelona make a decent bid for the Brazilian in the winter transfer window.
