Coutinho struggles at Barcelona as new Man Utd speculations emerge

Even if the club has tried to minimize it of late, in Barcelona the Coutinho case is likely to explode. As reported by Marca, the episode that triggered the current crisis situation occurred on Thursday, before the match between Levante and Barcelona. Jon Aspiazu, the assistant coach of Ernesto Valverde, in an interview before the match said: "Coutinho isn't perhaps at the level of last year". The agents of the player, Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci, have called the club to show their discontent with the situation.

Coutinho lost importance within the team and he’s currently unable to collect good performances on the pitch. Against Levante his game was very disappointing as he had 17 lost balls. According to the English tabloids, Barcelona could decide to sacrifice Philippe Coutinho in June in order to help Neymar’s return to the Blaugrana.
