CR7: ‘If I were Florentino, I’d extend my contract for 10 more years. Where does Xavi play?’
The Portuguese ace scored in Real Madrid’s 5-2 win over Osasuna yesterday and did not hesitate to attack former Barcelona star Xavi during a post-match interview.
The ex-Spain International had claimed that ‘Ronaldo’s problem is another player, the best one ever [Messi]’.
“I am the player that people search the most on the internet, the one who is always on magazines’ covers, if a manager or a player talks about me it’s only for my good. I don’t care about what Xaxi says, I don’t even know if he plays in Qatar or somewhere else. He has won everything but he has never won a Ballon d’Or. I have three.”
CR7 also revealed his plans for the future: “If I were Real Madrid’s president I’d extend my contract for ten more years, I only see Real Madrid in my career. I want to stay because that’s the best club in the world, I want to end my career at Real Madrid. I am not worried about the contract extension and neither Florentino Perez is”
