Cristiano Ronaldo dropped the bombshell. The Portuguese star told Florentino Pérez loud and clear that he wants to leave Real Madrid. He no longer feels valued by the club and wants them to facilitate his departure next summer.

It will not be easy for the former Manchester United winger to find a new club at his age. His preference is to return to the Premier league, but he knows the Red Devils cannot afford to sign him.

Therefore, he has asked agent Jorge Mendes to find him another English club such as Chelsea. His priority is to play in England and, if it cannot be with United, his second choice would be the Stamford Bridge outfit. Cristiano would then be able to live in London and continue fighting for important titles.

He knows it will not be an easy deal to pull off. After all, despite the backing of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Chelsea is not as powerful economically as Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain. That said, he absolutely does not want to go to MLS and intends to keep competing at the highest level.
