    Crystal Palace interested in Roma sub Willy Vainqueur

    Roma are working hard to bring players in at the moment. With the arrivals of Thomas Vermaelen, Bruno Peres and Federico Fazio, the Giallorossi are clearly working on adding some bulk to their defence, which looks a tad exposed after Antonio Rudiger's cruciate injury. 

    Then again, it looked exposed last year... before Rudiger turned into the one of the league's most interesting players. 

    Beyond that, however, Roma are looking to offload some weight in midfield, and William Vainqueur could end up having his number called. Clearly brought in by predecessor Rudi Garcia, the Frenchman has been the subject of a few conversations between Roma and Crystal Palace. 

    Il Messaggero claims that an offer could be fortmulated in the coming days.
