Inter: idea Mpoku. AC Milan: some departures expected
Inter Milan, as well as the other Italian top clubs, are tracking some young talents: as reported by Izvestia, for example, the nerazzurri have joined the hunt for Chelsea 20-year-old forward Lucas Piazon, actually on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt –who would like to sign him on permanent deal-. Perhaps, the Lombard club’s president Erick Thohir would like to sign an Asian player, even for marketing reasons; the Indonesian tycoon would prefer a compatriot, but it seems more credible a signing from Japan or China. A priority for Inter is finding a backup for their 20-year-old attacking midfielder Mateo Kovacic, and, as outlined by calciomercato.com, are thinking about Standard Liege 22-year-old Paul-José Mpoku: the Belgium international seemed intended to leave during the last transfer window, but has finally remained at Les Rouches, with just a season left on his contract, and represents then an interesting option for the nerazzurri, even if also Napoli, Arsenal and Liverpool are thinking about the former Tottenham player. As reported earlier today, AC Milan executives were supposed to meet today also to talk about the transfer market’s strategies: the Lombard club’s Chief Executive Adriano Galliani has declared that there are many players in the current team, so that some of them could leave in January.
