Di Laurentiis: 'Napoli have been doing extraordinary things for 9 years'

Napoli chairman Aurelio di Laurentiis believes that the partenopei have done extraordinary things over the last nine years and has praised the club for the progress they have made.

The club face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League in a vital game which will see them decide their fate in the competition. Liverpool have to win the game 1-0 and if Napoli do score a goal, the Reds will have to win by a two goal margin to progress.

Di Laurentiis was recently talking to TuttoNapoli about the progress the partenopei have made and he believes that Napoli have made extraordinary progress over the last nine years.

He said: "Napoli has been doing something extraordinary for 9 years, but those who praise, it's better to be calm. The guys are here with professionalism and love, they feel the lot.

"They are not where also put under pressure in the last because Ancelotti was good at warming even those who had not played for months. Everything goes well.

"Now there is Liverpool, which is a great club, a great team with great players. Ancelotti is always right, he is the man of the correct measure."
