€35m Chelsea star admits to PSG interest
The French international moved to Stamford Bridge last summer for 35 million, but doesn’t regret his decision.
Recent reports indicated that the midfielder was also being targeted by Real Madrid this summer, though the trail has cooled of late.
The 26-year-old has won accolade upon accolade this season, including the PFA Players' Player of the Year award, and also the EPL Player of the Season award.
“It’s true that PSG were there, like other clubs after my strong season at Leicester City,” Kante’ told Le Parisien.
“But I chose Chelsea after speaking to the Coach and the sporting director.
Kante’ had a terrific campaign, being widely praised and helping Chelsea win the Premier League title, and earned a return to Champions League football.
“And I don’t regret it. Besides, I liked the style of play and the Premier League itself”.
