€45m star wants to join Man City, and only them

Chased by half the Premier League, Mendy is worth €45 million according to Monaco, and City have been discussing with them over the last few days.
The two sides are nearing a deal. The left-back would join team-mate Bernardo Silva, who was signed by the Mancunian side earlier this summer for €50 million.
Mendy is reputed as one of the most talented players around, and has also earned four caps with France, having also represented Les Bleus at every junior level.
The 22-year-old is coming from a stunning season, in which he made eight assists between Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
