Empoli president reveals Juventus want to sign Lorenzo Tonelli
The Tuscans’ president Fabrizio Corsi has told Radio Kiss Kiss the Old Lady wants to sign the 26-year-old centre-back Lorenzo Tonelli, adding that two more Serie A sides had tried to sign the former Italy U-21 international.
“Tonelli is among the best Italian centre-backs after the Juventus’ ones, so much so he could also make a good impression as a Bianconeri player.”
“Actually, they tried to sign him last January. AS Roma and Napoli made an attempt too, but Juventus are still the most interested.”
Mr. Corsi has also made some interesting revelations about the AS Roma, Napoli and AC Milan target Piotr Zielinski.
“Napoli wanted to sign him too last January, but Udinese didn’t want to sell him. AS Roma are also interested, but there are only transfer rumors at the moment.”
