Juve had also tried using the midfielder as makeweight to sign Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic, but that deal never took off. He was one of the players who could have left the club, as Juve were looking to make as many capital profits as they could this summer.
But we now understand that Juve have taken Can off the market and want to keep him at the club. There was interest from PSG as well recently but nothing has come out of it.
