Epl review: Manchester City-Arsenal 3-1, here are the players ratings

Eleven matches have come and gone, and Manchester City continues its impressive unbeaten start at the top of the Premier League.

The Citizens took down Arsenal, 3-1, at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday behind goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.

The victory increases City's lead at the PL summit with Pep Guardiola's side holding 31 points to date. Meanwhile, the Gunners remain fifth on 19 points.

Arsenal were pegged back inside the opening 19 minutes, when De Bruyne and Fernandinho worked a quick one-two outside the Gunners area, with the former blasted a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner.

Guardiola's crew doubled their advantage five minutes into the second stanza when Aguero converted from the penalty spot for his eighth goal in his eight PL appearances this season.

The Gunners had a glimmer of hope, though, when Alexandre Lacazette came on after halftime. The Frenchman made it 2-1 with 25 minutes to play as Lacazette powered a low shot between the legs of City goalkeeper Ederson.

It was a controversial non-decision that ensured the points for City in the 74th minute, as David Silva appeared offside on a pass to the Spaniard down the wing. However, play continued and the creative attacker found Jesus in front of net.

Next up for the Gunners will be will be a crucial North London Derby against Tottenham on Nov. 18, while Man City will wait to take on Leicester City following the international break.
