    Italy will face Germnay tonight in the quarter finals of EURO 2016. The Germans are without a win against the azzurri in official games (world cup or European championships). Joachim Low’s squad won the last meeting 4-1 at the Allianz Arena in a friendly game ahead of the tournament.

    Germany are the only team that have yet to allow a goal and that have the registered the most ball possession during EURO 2016 (69%).

    Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini, Daniele De Rossi, Mattia De Sciglio, Eder, Lorenzo Insigne, Antonio Pellé, Salvatore Sirigu and Simone Zaza are one yellow card away from suspension like Boateng, Hummels, Khedira, Kimmich and Ozil.

    The winner qualifies to the semifinal and will play in the semifinal on Thursday night against the winner between France and Iceland.
