There is more to the Alexis Sanchez story, as it is reported in England today via The Mirror that the Chilean attacker has handed in a transfer request. It’s thought that the player is increasingly annoyed with the situation at the club and with coach Arsene Wenger, who adamantly denies any chance that the player will leave the club this summer. In fact, the French technician does not intend to allow the player to leave, even if it means losing him for free next summer, as Sanchez’s contract expires in 2018, and he refuses to sign an extension.
