Everton boss pours cold water on Inter midfielder deal
Marco Silva, manager of Everton, talked about the possibility of Inter midfielder, João Mário, previously in the Premier League with West Ham. Speaking to O Jogo, Silva said:
“João Mário is a player of Inter and there is nothing more than that, he was my player, I was the one who put him in the main team of Sporting. He had a very good season, but at the moment he is not on the table."
Mário signed for Inter from Sporting Lisbon in 2016 for a fee of €37 million however the Portuguese has never really lived up to expectation at San Siro and faces an uncertain future at the club.
