Everton join Milan and Juve in race to sign Udinese starlet
- Matthew Klimberg
After a summer that saw much turnover at the club, it appears Everton executives are prepared to open their wallet again to fill additional gaps in the lineup. The Czech could go a long way towards shoring up the middle of the pitch at Goodson Park.
In seven matches with Udinese this year, Jankto has deposited two goals as the club looks to remain in Serie A. With only three points in six matches, however, they are only one point above the relegation line. The loss of Jankto, one of their strongest players, may seal their fate.
As for Milan and Juve, the Rossoneri took an interest in him this past summer, but decided to spend the money elsewhere. Now, as they look to find a backup to Franck Kessie, Jankto could be the answer. For Juve, Jankto would fill depth as Claudio Marchisio continues to struggle with injuries.
