Everton set to complete the signing of Malaga striker

Ronald Koeman’s summer revolution at Everton looks set to continue this week with reports in the Daily Star claiming that the Toffees are closing in on a deal for Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez. The 21-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Barcelona, has been in impressive goalscoring form since he made the move to southern Spain in 2016, knocking in 14 goals in 30 appearances for the club.

Everton have already smashed their own transfer record by bringing in England Under-21 goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for £30M last week and have also signed Dutch midfielder star Davy Klaassen from Ajax for £25M. Now the Merseyside club are understood to have activated the release clause for Sandro which stands at just £5.2M and the player looks set to head to Goodison Park later this week for a medical.

Koeman’s summer spending won’t stop there either, with reports suggesting he will also make a move for Swansea City playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson and Burnley defender Michael Keane.
