Everton set to tie up 16 million deal with Milan for Niang

Everton are making a statement of intent this summer and according to Starsport, boss Ronald Koeman is ready to take his spending up to £70M with the signing of Milan striker M’Baye Niang.  The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on-loan at Watford and is understood to be keen to remain in the Premier League. The Italian side are ready to off-load the Frenchman for £16M and the Toffees are planning to make their move.

Having already bought England Under-21 goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Dutch midfielder Davy Klaassen, Niang looks to be the latest piece in the jigsaw for Koeman who wants to deliver his club into the top six of the Premier League next season.
Many people may remember Niang as the player who posted a video of himself jumping off a balcony into a swimming pool last summer which angered Milan chiefs and marked the beginning of the end of his time in Serie A.
