Everton to make 30 million move for Arsenal striker

Everton have been one of the busiest Premier League clubs so far in the transfer window. Ronald Koeman is in the middle of a major squad overhaul this summer as he attempts to challenge for the Champions League places next season.

According to The Mirror, the Dutch tactician’s latest target is Arsenal and England striker Theo Walcott. The 28-year-old fell out of favour with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger towards the end of last term and with the arrival of French international Alexandre Lacazette, Walcott must now fear for his future at The Emirates.

The journal claims that Wenger is open to the player’s departure and having just brought in Wayne Rooney from Manchester United, Koeman is ready to link him with his international team-mate. As well as bringing England’s record goalscorer back to Goodison Park, Koeman has also brought in Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane plus Sandro Ramirez and Davy Klaassen.

It’s also understood that he could also make a move for Crystal Palace frontman Christian Benteke.
