He’s yet to play for Barcelona this season due to his involvement with the Brazilian Olympic squad, but Neymar is never very far from the headlines. His former agent Wagner Ribeiro has been speaking to ESPN Brazil where he revealed that; “Neymar was very close to joining Paris Saint-Germain. They were prepared to offer him €40 million per season.”
 

He continued; “Manchester United also tried but in the end he decided to remain at Barcelona”. Ribeiro also revealed that the Parisian side offered the Catalan club €190 million for the 24-year-old who recently signed a new deal in Spain until June 2021 which contains a €200 million buy-out clause.
