Exclusive: AC Milan in negotiations for Ajax starlet

AC Milan are studying many moves on the transfer market and the latest name on Leonardo's list is Donny Van de Beek, already followed by Monchi's Roma in the last few months. One of the many prospects from Ajax' youth academy, also monitored by several English clubs, is unlikely to move in January, as the Dutch team considers him not for sale. This is why the Rossoneri are studying a strategy for June.

If for January names such as Stefano Sensi or Leandro Paredes are in the viewfinder, for next summer, contacts between Leonardo and Van de Beek's entourage have started, having already obtained the appreciation of the player himself.

Milan wanted to learn about the potential costs of the operation and the competition for the 21-year-old midfielder who has collected 13 appearances and 3 goals in the Eredivisie. Work in progress, therefore, as Milan prepare purchases for January but also study the summer transfer market with Van de Beek on the list.
