Exclusive: Arsenal on red alert as Juve hold talks over France International

Arsenal are being alerted as Juventus have made contact with Mino Raiola over the signing of Blaise Matuidi, sources have told calciomercato.com
The France International has recently emerged as a top transfer target of Arsenal with the Gunners who have reportedly been offered the Frenchman in a player-plus cash swap deal for Alexis Sanchez.

The Old Lady, however, is also a long time admirer of Matuidi whose contract in Paris expires at the end of next season.

Matuidi is being shortlisted as potential midfield reinforcement by Juventus although Nemanja Matic and Emre Can are absolute priorities for the Old Lady.

The Chelsea and Liverpool midfielders, however, would cost Juventus more than € 35 million, whilst the price-tag of Matuidi is much lower than that given that Psg are not open to offer their midfield star a contract extension.

Juventus and Psg, however, are not on good terms and the Old Lady hopes that the player’s agent Mino Raiola will persuade the Ligue 1 giants to sell Matuidi to the bianconeri.
