EXCLUSIVE: Batshuayi puts Crystal Palace negotiations on hold, Juve and Chelsea back in the race

Michy Batshuayi could turn down Crystal Palace’s contract offer, calciomercato.com has exclusively learned. English media reported earlier today that Olympique de Marseille had accepted Crystal Palace’s € 38 million offer for the Belgium International who netted in his side’s 4-0 win over Hungary on Sunday night.

The French club are in desperate need of fresh cash and the bid of the Premier League side was believed to be the perfect answer to their needs. Trouble is, Batshuayi wants to join a bigger club and is taking time waiting for other offers. He wouldn't mind a move to Juventus or Chelsea, tow clubs which have already showed their interest in the player

Juventus’ have already informed Olympique de Marseille they are not willing to improve their offer (€ 30 million plus bonuses).

The French club have requested € 35 plus bonuses, but the Old Lady won’t add a penny to her previous bid. Batshuayi’s old club Standard de Liege have the right to cash in the 35% from the player’s future sale, that’s why the striker’s price-tag is so high.

West Ham, Tottenham and Chelsea are also interested in signing the 22-year-old hit-man who plundered 23 goals in all competitions last term.
