EXCLUSIVE Emery snub Sirigu, PSG keeper chased by Inter, Napoli… and Roma?

Salvatore Sirigu’s future is very likely to be in Italy.

The former Palermo goalkeeper isn’t enjoying his stay in France anymore. It was bad enough that Laurent Blanc left him on the bench in favour of newcomer Kevin Trapp. It was even worse when new manager Unai Emery, instead of turning a new leaf, spoke of having ‘complete confidence’... in Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola.

This snub has Italy’s Number 2 looking elsewhere… and Italy in particular, where he has the most requests. Inter Milan are very interested, especially if they were to sell Samir Handanovic.

Ciprian Tatarusanu proved at the Euros that he isn’t the full package yet, and this may prompt Fiorentina to look for an alternative.

Lazio are also interested, as Federico Marchetti doesn’t completely convince Marcelo Bielsa. Who else is in the race? How about Torino, who are looking for an alternative to Daniele Padelli?

Though it will be harder, Roma could also be in the race, as Alisson could remain as the reserve whilst Wojciech Szczesny is set to stay.
