Andrea Belotti has been praised by everyone following his early season romp… but he has also been recognized by a Torino legend.

Former Granata striker Marco Ferrante, scorer of 114 Serie A goals with the Turinese outfit, exclusively told CM.com that Il Gallo could be his worthy successor.

“He could definitely be my heir,” Ferrante told CM’s Francesco Zei, “even though he’s more physical than I was, and has less technique.

“He’s done well until now, now he just needs to remain at that level, which is the hardest thing.

“He’s Italy’s future”.

Ferrante also added a positive verdict about his former team, claiming that they can “be the surprise package this season, because they have clear ideas.

“Mihajlovic is the right man at the right time”.
