Exclusive: Inter chase PSG star, but there's a problem

Inter are interested in Javier Pastore, we can exclusively reveal.

Fabrizio Romano confirms that the Nerazzurri’s new technical coordinator, Walter Sabatini, wants to recruit the PSG midfielder. Sabatini was, in fact, behind Palermo's signing of the Argentine a number of years ago.

Pastore started life in Paris well, going into double figures in his first Ligue 1 Season in 2011-12.

It's hard to see him justifying his €42m pricetag of late, missing many games last season due to injury.

Things aren't going to get any easier with Neymar, Kylian M’Bappe and Julian Draxler joining of late.

Trouble is, however, that there isn't much leverage in this for Inter, because PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi is stonewalling any notion of a move.

Only the Argentine could change the situation by lobbying for a move away
in January.

Previously approached by Juventus, Pastore has never played as well as he has in Italy. Will it be enough to prompt a move?
