    EXCLUSIVE: Inter could make late call on Icardi for AS Roma clash

    The injury Mauro Icardi picked up last Saturday during Inter-Bologna seems to be less serious than expected, so much so the Argentinean could play a handful of minutes against AS Roma next week end.

    The Argentinean hit-man did not train yesterday and Mancini will probably know something more about the striker’s physical condition next Thursday when the former Sampdoria star is expected to undergo medical examination.

    According to our sources, there are no chance to see Icardi starting against Roma on Saturday,  even if Mancini could deploy him for the final 5-10 minutes in case his side would need to score one goal in the last minutes of play.

    Giallorossi and Nerazzurri are direct rivals in race to qualify to Champions League and there are only five points dividing the two sides in the Serie A table.
