Abdoul Salam Ag Jiddou or simply Jiddou may not have won the Under 17 World Cup with his Mali which ended recently in India with England winning the tournament, but the Les Aiglonnets player was certainly one of the biggest stars of the tournament.

Mali finished in 4th place, just losing out on the medals, but their playmaker wearing the number 10 shirt set the tournament alight. Jiddou, born on February 1st 2000, played all of Mali's matches in the tournament scoring once in their 3-1 win over New Zealand as well as being noted for 2 assists.

Performances like that have made the player, who in his native Mali is described as a mix of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kroos and Zidane, catch the eye of many European top clubs. Calciomercato.com have learned that scouts representing Arsenal, Inter and Roma are very keen on bringing him to their respective clubs based on what they saw in the FIFA Under 17 World Championships.
