Exclusive: Juve midfielder going nowhere in January

Sami Khedira's future in Turin doesn't seem to be in danger, Calciomercato can exclusively reveal.

Despite the possibility of signing Emre Can from Liverpool, it looks like Juventus want to hold on to the German international, our sources exclusively tell us.

Though the former Real Madrid man will turn 31 next season, Juventus don't want to exclude him, and are thinking of discussing his contract, which they would like extended beyond 2019.

This all depends on the midfielder then : the ball is in his court.

This despite the fact that more than one club has asked after the German, especially from the MLS. A number of Premier League clubs are also known to be interested.

For the moment, it looks like Juventus will decide between now and June, with Spring the most likely time in which to make a decision.

Either way, Khedira is considered to be untouchable in January.
