Exclusive: Juve, Milan's tense fight over €30m Liverpool target

Two Serie A sides are fighting hard to sign Keita Balde, we can exclusively reveal.

The Liverpool target is drawing closer to a departure from Lazio, with Juventus and Milan locking horns.

Fabrizio Romano reveals that Keita won’t stay in Rome, and is on very bad terms with the Aquile.

Milan have reached an agreement with his club, Lazio, while Juventus have an agreement with the attacker himself.

This has led the Bianconeri to react, Romano reveals, by contacting and meeting with agent Roberto Calenda. The Bianconeri still won’t spend the big sums (Milan are set to fork out a combined 50m for Keita and Lucas Biglia), and want the 21-year-old to stay until the end of his deal, when he can join the Turinese side for free.

Milan’s reaction is to try to reach the right economic agreement with Keita, as well as offer him a convincing vision of Milan’s future plans. Having ended the current season in sixth place, the Rossoneri have had a hard time persuading the Senegalese international that they’re the better pick.
