Exclusive: Juventus close to signing Belgium midfield star
The Russian side have just completed the signing of Hernani from Atletico Paranaense for just € 8 million and are also chasing Renato Augusto. Juventus have offered € 6 million plus add-ons to sign Witsel. The overall offer is around € 10 million and Zenit’s asking price is € 10 million.
There is now not too much distance between the two parties and middlemen are working night and day to find an economic agreement between the two parties but at this stage Juventus are as close as ever to sign the Belgian midfielder who has already an agreement with the Old Lady.
Juventus hope to finalize the deal by the end of the month and announce Witsel’s arrival at the beginning of 2017.
