Exclusive: Juventus on the brink of sealing a deal with Spurs target

The future of Czech striker Patrik Schick looks almost certain to be with Serie A champions Juventus. The 21-year-old Sampdoria frontman has been linked with several high-profile clubs over the past few months but Calciomercato.com’s Fabrizio Romano understands that a deal to take him to Turin is close.

With Spurs, Inter and Borussia Dortmund waiting in the wings Juve chiefs have moved quickly to conclude the business having been in discussions with the player’s entourage and an agreement could be confirmed later today. The Bianconeri are ready to meet Samp’s €25M release clause and are now deciding whether to bring him straight to Turin of let him remain at his current side on a season long loan.

Coach Massimo Allegri has given the green-light for him to arrive immediately although this is yet to be clarified as is the final figure; Romano reports that Juve may look to lower the price by offering a cash plus player exchange with the Blucerchiati.
