Exclusive: Juventus still trying to sign Arsenal star this month

Serie A giants Juventus are still looking to sign Aaron Ramsey on a permanent basis this winter, Calciomercato exclusively understand.

Ramsey has already agreed to move to Juventus in the summer of 2019, with his contract at Arsenal set to run out at the end of the season.

Nicola Balice understands that the bianconeri haven't given up on signing Ramsey on a permanent basis this month, despite Arsenal's toughest attempts to resist Juve's tries.

Juve feel unlike Liverpool, Arsenal could yet allow Ramsey to join Juve in January and unlike Emre Can, they can yet sign the Welshman; or are hoping to do the same.

Juve currently have three midfielders, with Juan Cuadrado injured. They feel the need for another midfielder to close out the business end of the season, with Sami Khedira and Can two of three midfielders they have fit.

Arsenal have set a price of 20 to 25 million euros for Ramsey, but their injury problems are forcing them to keep Ramsey till the end of the season. But their attempts to sign Denis Suarez suggests that there is a chink in their armor.
