Exclusive: Juventus to scout Belgium star during International break

Juventus are keen to sign a new right-back and sources have told calciomercato.com that scouts of the Old Lady will be in the stands of Sarajevo’s Asim Ferhatović Hase stadium on Saturday to monitor Psg and Belgium star Thomas Meunier.

The 26-year-old has lost his starter status due to the arrival of Dani Alves in the French capital and the Serie A giants are looking at every possible opportunity available in the market as they are still struggling to replace Dani Alves who, ironically, joined Psg in the summer causing Meunier’s lack of game time this season.

According to our reporter from Turin Nicola Balice, Meuier is one Juventus’ targets and the Old Lady could make an attempt to sign him either in January or at the end of the season.

As for now, they want to monitor his performances to understand whether he could fit into Max Allegri’s side.

Juventus signed Mattia De Sciglio and Benedikt Howedes in the summer but they have both failed to prove their worth given that they are both still out of action with muscle injuries.
