EXCLUSIVE: Lapadula to start Sampdoria game in place of Bacca - Predicted Linups
Scorer of 30 goals in Serie B last term (all of them coming from open play), Lapadula joined AC Milan last summer in a € 9 million deal. A classic centre forward just like his teammate Carlos Bacca, Lapadula moves more than the Colombian ace up front, not to mention is endless pressing of opponents’ defenders.
Montella was left impressed by his last few training sessions and is going to start him against Sampdoria tonight. The aeroplanino has also had a private meeting with Carlos Bacca who moaned for not getting assisted properly, whist Montella told him that he should move more and play for the rest of the team.
Bacca netted a hat-trick in AC Milan’s Serie A debut game this season, but failed to score more in the following two games against Napoli and Udinese.
