Exclusive: Man Utd open to Darmian sale as Juve prepare opening bid

Juventus are looking for a replacement for Dani Alves who has decided to leave Turin to join Manchester City leaving the Old Lady in desperate need of a new right winger. Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian tops the Serie A giants summer shopping list and contacts between the two parties have already begun.

Calciomercato.com can confirm that the Red Devils are open to sell the Italy International although José Mourinho is not willing to sell Darmian on loan. Our reporter Nicola Balice claims Manchester United will only sell Darmian on a permanent deal or on loan with mandatory buy-out clause.

The Old Lady will soon make an opening bid for the former Torino star whose price-tag is in the region of € 20 million. The bianconeri are going to table a € 4 million loan bid with € 18 million option to buy. Darmian is not the only right-back on Juve shopping list as Danilo and Fabinho are also being monitored by the Champions League finalists.
