Exclusive Moratti: ‘Here’s how Inter managed to sign Ronaldo from Barcelona in 1997

Former Inter president Massimo Moratti has released an exclusive interview with Calciomercato.com’s Pasquale Guarro talking about Ronal’s Inter move which was finalized 20 years ago. Ronaldo’s agent at the time Giovanni Branchini has also talked to our reporter from Moratti’s home in Milan.

“It was a very important moment for Inter’s history. We were very happy to have signed him. He was special because he was a centre forward and it is more difficult for a striker to show his skills when he faces centre defenders.”
