Exclusive: PSG try to gatecrash Man City's Dani Alves deal

PSG are trying to persuade Dani Alves to go back on his agreement with Manchester City and join them, instead.

We can exclusively reveal that the Ligue 1 side want the Juventus man to forget about City, despite the fact that he is interested in working with Pep Guardiola, with whom he worked with at Barcelona.

PSG are already talking to the 34-year-old, who scored six goals and made six assists in all competitions this season.

Chelsea are also in the race, but they’re more focussed on other players.

Reports from France indicate that Tottenham are also in the race, but also that PSG have offered Alves a bigger role, considering that he struggled for playing time last season.

Beyond that, the Ligue 1 side wants Alves to become a major figure in the locker room, too.

Alves joined Juventus on a Bosman last season, but didn’t shine until the very end of the season, and never seemed to fit in.
