    • M.G.
Juventus are seeking a backup for their right back Stephan Lichtsteiner, and one of their targets remains Sassuolo 24-year-old Sime Vrsaljko, but obtaining the Croatia international seems to be very difficult; for this reason, the bianconeri are also thinking about Valencia 21-year-old Joao Cancelo.

The Portugal international plays for the taronges on loan with right to buy from Benfica, who ask €15 million for a transfer to permanent deal; the Spanish club has no doubts about such possibility, as the player is already evaluated almost €20 million. The Serie A defending champions are already in talks with the agents of Cancelo, who is also a target for some English and Spanish clubs; Juve want to sign the player next summer, but, as they did with Alex Sandro, they want to move quicker than their competitors.

At the end of the season, also a midfielder will join, and the Piedmont’s club is thinking about another Valencia player –the 22-year-old André Gomes. The latter is evaluated over €28 million, and is also on Manchester United’s radar.
