Exclusive Romano: Szczesny, Juve are ready to close the deal: Milan had also made an attempt

Goodbye Roma. Wojcjech Szczesny is set to leave Rome but it won't be to return to London. The Polish keeper's contract expires in 2018 with Arsenal as Juve inch closer to finzalizing a deal for him.

JUVE ARE PUSHING HARD - Juventus want to close a deal for him as soon as possible. They found an agreement with the keeper's entourage as they offered him a 4 million euros per season salary which convinced him. Szczesny's entourage had been in talks with other clubs too but Juve are now in pole position. Arsenal are asking for 20 million euros for him where as Juve don't want to go over the 15-16 million euros mark. Even so, a deal shoudn't be too hard to find between both clubs...

AND MILAN ? ..... - Napoli had interest in him but they weren't the only ones as Milan have also made a few inquiries for him over the past few weeks. He was their plan B to Gigio Donnarumma (who still hasn't renewed his deal with the club) but Juve came in strong and are now ready to close the deal. Only a few details are now missing as Szczesny inches closer to Turin....
