    • M.G.
Luciano Spalletti is ready to put pen to paper on his contract with AS Roma, after finding an agreement with the club’s president James Pallotta; the two, as reported by calciomercato.com’s expert Fabrizio Romano, have also talked about the transfer market, as the Tuscan tactician will be decisive also from that point of view; the former Zenit coach will in fact cooperate with the Sporting Director Walter Sabatini, and even for this reason, the giallorossi’s transfer campaign is at the moment on stand by.
Spalletti wants at least three new players: a center back, a winger and a full back. Regarding the defense, Empoli 25-year-old Lorenzo Tonelli is a concrete target, even though the azzurri have no intention to let him go. For what concerns the team’s flank, Roma are keen on Genoa 27-year-old Diego Perotti, and are expecting Spalletti’s evaluation about the 23-year-old Stephan El Shaarawy, for whom they already have an agreement with AC Milan.
On the other hand, Spalletti has made clear that he counts on the 25-year-old midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who is a target for both Real Madrid and Barcelona.
