Inter's Brazilian forward Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa has hardly featured for Benfica since joining the Portuguese giants on loan and the player's entourage as well as the Nerazzurri Directors are working on finding a solution. Inter Directors Ausilio and Sabatini hope that when the transfer window opens in January, a Chinese club swoops in for the Brazilian and if that were not to happen then they hope to loan the former Santos striker to yet another club in order to relaunch his career.

A return back to Santos has been rumoured given how well things went last time around but in exclusive interview with Calciomercato.com, the club's President Modesto Roma reiterade that "Gabigol is a dream that we like but out of our reality." Santos want to try to make an attempt over the next few weeks and Inter are insisting on this solution however the final decision lies with Gabigol who has not played regular football for 18 months since leaving the Brazilian club in the summer of 2016 to join Inter for a reported fee of €30 million.
