Exclusive: West Ham meet unhappy striker today ahead of January Juventus return

Wet Ham have decided to cut Simone Zaza’s loan spell at the club and send him back to Juventus, just six months after the Italian striker’s arrival in North-West London.

Zaza joined the Hammers on loan with € 20 million option to buy last summer. The Premier League club could activate an option to sign the striker on a permanent deal after his 14th appearance with the club, but West Ham have decided to cut short Zaza’s loan spell earlier than that.

Our reporter Nicola Balice has exclusively learned that representatives of West Ham will meet Zaza today in order to plan his return to Juventus which is going to happen over the next few days, once the January transfer window opens.

Zaza will return to Juventus but he’s not likely to stay at the club for a long period of time as Juventus have plenty of choices in their attacking department and there would be no space for the Italian striker. Zaza is a transfer target of both Valencia and AC Milan and Juventus are not open to sell him for less than € 20 million.
