Exclusive: Why Higuain is furious with AC Milan, Chelsea can sign him on one condition

Gonzalo Higuain is pushing to join Chelsea with Maurizio Sarri who is determined to reunite with the former Napoli and Juventus striker. The relationship between the Argentinean striker and the Rossoneri changed between November and December when Higuain understood that AC Milan could have not signed him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

When he joined the San Siro hierarchy in the summer, El Pipita was reassured that AC Milan would have completed his permanent signing at the end of the season. However, when Higuain understood that AC Milan could have not signed him on a permanent deal, he asked to leave the club.

Leonardo confirmed that AC Milan will struggle to make Higuain’s move permanent if Gattuso fails to qualify for the Champions League this season and the former Juve and Real Madrid star is now willing to leave the club and join Chelsea.

Juventus are open to selling the player on loan under certain conditions, whilst AC Milan will only agree to sell Higuain if they sign a new striker before.
